We use a small amount of analytics to understand how people find and explore Symmetry '26 — nothing more elaborate than that. Here's exactly what happens, and how to change your mind.
What we use
This site uses Firebase Analytics, which runs on Google Analytics. Once enabled, it automatically records things like which pages are visited, roughly how long people stay, general device type, and approximate location (city or country level, never precise). It does not read anything you type into the registration form — that data is stored separately with our registration system and isn't connected to analytics.
Nothing loads until you say yes
When you first visit, you'll see a small banner asking whether to turn analytics on. If you decline, none of the above is ever loaded or recorded — no cookies get set at all. If you accept, your choice is remembered in your browser for future visits, so you won't be asked again on this device.
Change your mind anytime
Your choice only applies to the browser and device you made it on. You can reset it here at any time — this clears your saved preference and asks you again on your next page load.
Third parties
Analytics data is processed by Google, under Firebase's terms. We don't share this data with anyone beyond that, and we don't use it for advertising. For more detail on how Google itself handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy .
